The app is part of a larger project funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, supported by the municipal administration and created by the research laboratory SASWEB (Semantic, Adaptive and Social Web) of the University of Udine, in its Gorizia.
At the moment the app is a guide to discover the cultural, tourist and commercial realities of Cividale del Friuli and is aimed both to the tourist, proposing cultural routes, but also to those who look at the city and its Natural Commercial Center for purchases, promotions, overnight stays and events “.
This is what is defined by the councilor for technological innovation Flavio Pesante, who was assisted in the process by the councilor for tourism and production activities Daniela Bernardi who has maintained contact with over fifty businesses participating in the initiative. Confcommercio, which plays a fundamental role in the Natural Commercial Center, also through its contacts confirmed its willingness to support commercial activities in order to join the project.
Entering the merits of the new application, the initial screen presents the activities divided into categories (ranging from clothing, to pharmacies), as well as utility services and tourist information. Also present are the profiles of the cultural institutions of the city, so the museums, the Monastery / Tempietto Longobardo, the tourist routes.
“We wanted to develop a software – continues Pesante – dedicated to the city and to traders, but in particular, to our guests who, more and more numerous and” technological “, come to visit us and quickly want to know the territorial offer that at that time they are proposed. A meticulous work, open to changes and additions that every single member of the agreement, independently, but with the supervision of the officers in charge, can constantly carry out: promotions, sales, exhibitions, presentations and anything else within an index or a ” clik “depending on the instrument used”.
The new app, in fact, can be viewed and used by the most advanced tools such as tablets, smartphones, PCs, netbooks, notebooks, etc. and the user will be able to “vote” what he likes, giving feedback immediately, as published.
